Mrs. Kim Ward is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and psychotherapist at Harley Street Medical Centre, she completed her Professional Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2004 and remains a licensed practitioner psychologist in her country and recently in Abu Dhabi (Department of Health – DOH). She also obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in 2001. Mrs. Kim is a member of the Lebanese Psychological Association (LPA) and a member of the Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA).
Mrs. Kim Ward is highly specialized in diagnosing and treating mental, behavioral, and emotional illness. She has over eighteen years of experience practicing in a wide variety of clinical settings in Lebanon, primarily at her own clinic since 2007 working with children, teenagers, and adults. Mrs. Kim worked for years as a clinical Psychologist in schools and institutions gaining a long experience related to the academic and teaching domain of psychology.
In addition to her rich experience in the treatment of a diversified range of disorders, she expanded her expertise as a consultant since 2019 with several international and local Non-Profit Organizations in Lebanon. She was trained throughout the years in Lebanon and abroad, in France and Britain, to use psychometric testing and to practice a wide variety of evidence-based psychotherapeutic techniques including Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Play-therapy, mentalization-Based therapy for children along with the psychodynamic approach of therapy, all used with different age groups.
As well as her deep experience in treating Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders, personality disorders, Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder (PTSD), Behavioral disorders and ADHD, Mrs. Kim provides couple therapy, grief and loss therapy, family therapy, and parental guidance; she aims through her psychological intervention to support and help individuals and families reduce their psychological distress which disrupts their everyday functioning, and enhance their psychological wellbeing.
