  • Overlooking the development of clinical policies, pathways, and protocols and ensuring their implementation and use.

• Performed all the complex surgeries including being the first Ileoanal Pouch surgeon.
• Introduced the use of advanced methods in managing patients including the introduction of Proctostation, Endoanal Ultrasound as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool, Anorectal Physiology, THD, Fecal Incontinence, Pelvic Floor and Stoma Care Unit, Diaphragmatic Pacing, AI-enhancing endoscopy, and Laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
• Set the first MDT for cancer patients in UAE. Introduced Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) practice in Burjeel units.
• Set the first medical students teaching and interns training in Burjeel holding.
