What Is Pilates?

What is Dance Fusion Workout?

Dance Fusion Workout is a high energy, low impact class designed to get you moving, smiling and feeling strong whilst being gentle on the joints. Through music, rhythm and expressive movement, this whole body workout improves fitness, balance, coordination and stamina. Set to an uplifting mix of Bollywood, Latin, Arabic, K-Pop and pop music, the class creates a joyful, supportive space to let-go, reset and recharge. We welcome beginners and experienced dance enthusiasts.

I attended the Healthy Bones & Joints classes at Core Pilates and can’t recommend them highly enough.

The class is fun, challenging, and full of learning. Cindy Khoo is a knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring teacher who really instils confidence. I had been feeling afraid of injury and found it difficult to push myself because of this, but Cindy’s knowledge, understanding, and gentle guidance helped me feel safe and supported. At the same time, the class still gave me a really effective — and tough — workout to rebuild strength and muscle mass.

I particularly love the strong focus on strength, balance, and learning techniques to get stronger without injury. I’ve been out of the country recently, but I’m really looking forward to returning to class next week.

This class feels almost like a hybrid between Pilates and rehabilitation: highly personalised, safe, and incredibly effective. Cindy’s skill and expertise make it possible to work hard while still feeling completely supported and cared for. Highly recommend!

I attended my first Healthy Bones & Joints class at Core Pilates just yesterday, and I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone worried about bone or joint health. The class is fun, challenging, and full of learning. Cindy Khoo, the class instructor and founder of Core Pilates, is a caring, patient teacher who is also a walking encyclopedia of everything related to bones and joints. Having been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, I find her knowledge and guidance invaluable. I’m quite aware of how important it is both to protect my bones while exercising and to reduce the risk of falls in everyday life. Thankfully, this class is helping me do exactly that. Through the course, I’m improving my posture, strength, balance, and overall workout technique. I’ve never encountered another Pilates or yoga studio in Abu Dhabi that offers this level of expertise and care for people with bone or joint concerns. I really think this program is a game-changer. I am a running group captain and Core Values Pilates have provided some very essential training and rehabilitation in my running schedule both personally and as a running group. Core Values Pilates have provided post-intervals floor Pilates sessions to help prevent post-speedwork stiffness and injuries which was very successful. I also had some rehabilitation sessions on the “machines” when I had a hip issues which were a major contributory factor to my complete recovery. Their guidance is concise and clear with a full explanation of the purpose of each movement. It is really great to know why you are doing a particular movement and what the benefit is. Very highly recommended.

I have recently started one to one Pilates sessions with Cindy in Abu Dhabi and it has been an excellent experience. Cindy is highly knowledgeable and able to explain movements to assist with issues I have been experiencing with my body. The exercises were tailored perfectly to what my body needed. This is a fabulous boutique Pilates studio in Abu Dhabi. Cindy has immense knowledge and is a fabulous instructor. Her classes are amazing, fun and the best work out. She always helps to correct your position when necessary. As it is a small studio you really get the help you need, making sure each exercise is done correctly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
