Dr. Sameh Ibrahim is a highly qualified consultant psychiatrist with long and extensive experience (more than 19 years) in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
Dr. Sameh has attained multiple distinguished scientific qualifications. He has Doctorate degree (PhD) in psychiatry, Arab board in psychiatry, Egyptian board in psychiatry, Master’s degree (MSc) in Neuropsychiatry and Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB).
Dr. Sameh has extensive international medical experience in the diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders gained form working and having positions in well-known reputable hospitals in Middle East and Gulf regions giving him the skills to deal with patients from different culture backgrounds.
Dr. Sameh is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi and Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Before relocating to UAE, he worked as a consultant psychiatrist and head of emergency psychiatry department in Al Amal Mental Health Hospital in KSA. Moreover, he had long and extensive experience in working in well-known mental health hospitals in Kuwait and Egypt.
Dr. Sameh has a wide range of experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. He has a patient centered approach with comprehensive treatment plan that include combination of psychopharmacology, psychotherapies and social interventions. To achieve the best outcome in treatment, he provides effective care for the patient based on the best worldwide evidence medicine and guidelines.
Dr. Sameh has a significant clinical experience in treating mental health problems of all levels of severity and complexity in children, adolescents, adults and old age people using a variety of approaches including pharmacological and psychological interventions.
Dr. Sameh believes in working collaboratively and compassionately with patients and their careers to find the most appropriate treatment for each individual patient. Dr. Sameh is a member of various well-known psychiatric and health associations such as the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the European Psychiatric Association (EPA). Moreover, he has been active in many medical societies and volunteers in numerous events raising awareness about mental health in the region.
